To mark the end of a successful golfing year for the Ladies Branch, a prize giving event was held at County Armagh Golf Club. Golfer of the Year was awarded to Flo McCall who played outstanding golf in 2015. Paula McCrory came in a worthy 2nd, beaten by Flo by only one point.

New Lady Captain Mrs Una Cullinane was accompanied by Past Captain Mrs Margaret Marjoram and new Vice Captain Mrs Gail Steed on 1st January for the first round of golf in 2016.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Ladies Branch of County Armagh Golf Club will be held in the Clubhouse on Thursday 26th November 2015 at 7.30pm.
Nominations and proposals must be submitted in writing to the Hon. Secretary by 6.30 pm Thursday 29th October.

The McAnerney's Open Charity Stableford was held on Thursday 17 th September. 91 played in this competition which was sponsored by McAnerney's Supermarket Armagh. Nicola Spence had a great score of 41 points to beat Lorraine Megaw on the back 9.
The sponsor Mrs Catherine McAnerney organised a coffee morning for the ladies and raised a magnificent £1500 for Action Cancer and the Hospice. In presenting the prizes Catherine thanked everyone for their support and congratulated all the winners.

Mrs Ellen Brady carded one of the best rounds of golf this year to record a fantastic 41 points in Thursdays Club Stableford competition!

With a round of parr golf with a few bogeys brought the nine handicapper round in just four over! The closest score was 38 points with Miss Catherine Steenson coming second beating Mrs Lynne Brown on the better back nine. Front and back nine winners were Miss Gillian Poole and Mrs Brigid McEneaney. Mrs Dorothy Brown won nine hole competition with runner up Mrs Marie Wilson in the prize winners again.

Thursday 3rd September saw 55 ladies play for the September medal kindly sponsored again this year by Ol Flowers, Armagh. A fantastic score of nett 68 for Miss Helen Forster saw her collect the winners prize from sponsor Annette.

The Ladies Miele team travelled to Tullamore, Co Offally to take on Rockmount in the regional final of the Miele All Ireland Inter Club Fourball on Monday 5 th September. Five rounds of tight matches had led to this eagerly awaited final, Armagh having defeated Clones, Fintona, Rossmore, Enniskillen and Tandragee to get there. This was a great achievement for the team, having reached the final for the second time in three years. The team led by Team Captain Mrs Elizabeth Mawhinney consisted of team veterans Mrs Ellen Brady, Mrs Valerie Gordon, Miss Paula McCrory, Mrs Lillian McMullan, Mrs June Humphries, Mrs Flo McCall, Mrs Teresa McVeigh and Mrs Gail Steed. Reserves were Mrs Moya Brady and Mrs Pauline Gingles and Mrs Joy Steenson assisting as Team Manager.

The sun shone on County Armagh Golf Club for the coveted Armaghdale Cup on Satuday 6th September.
The open competition attracted 127 ladies including 35 visitors from across the province including Dungannon, Tandragee, Scrabo, Portadown and Mannan Castle. The sponsors Davidson Business Services provided an array of beautiful prizes and it was all to play for. The conditions were perfect for good scoring and the results reflected that.
